Conditions:

  1. For the import of horses, the application form must be received, along with the attachments below, at least three days before the date of shipping.
  • Passport copy of each horse with the up-to-date vaccination record
  • Copy of the owner’s ID card
  • Blood test including swab test
  • Airway bill (AWB)

 

  1. For the purposes of exporting, the application form must be received, along with the attachments below, at least 20 days before the date of shipping.
  • Passport copy/copies with vaccine(s) (valid for 14-60 days)
  • Copy of the owner’s ID card

 

  1. The committee is responsible for the submission of the application to the Department of Animal Resources of the Ministry of Municipality & Environment, and the permission to import the fodder.

 

  1. The committee is not responsible or liable for any delays caused due to incomplete or incorrect documents attached to this form.

  • The horse must have been resident in a holding that is under veterinary supervision for 30 days prior to the export.
  • Immediately prior to the export (within 60 days, but not less than 14 days), the horse must have received either a primary course of vaccination against Equine influenza or a booster dose to a previous certified course of primary vaccination, as per the manufacturers’ recommendations.
